Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mr. Vandyke Rashford Wycliffe Allen.
A funeral service for the late Mr. Vandyke Rashford Wycliffe Allen, beloved husband of Marva Allen [nee Pearman], son of the late Mansfield Allen and Pearl Allen [nee Paynter], adoring father of Keisha Allen – Smith, Jonathan Allen [Cherie] and honorary son Keivon Smith, in his 80th year of 6 Cottage Hill Road, Hamilton Parish, CR03 will be held at St. John’s – The Anglican Church of Bermuda, 127 St John’s Road, Pembroke, HM 09 on Today, 21st April, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, St. George’s Parish.
There will be no viewing.
He is most lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Romiko Keijon and Keimya Smith, Ava and Zari Allen; sister: Greta Gerald; sisters-in-law: Donna Pearman and Venetta Symonds [Carlos]; aunt: Aileen Wright; nephews: David and Dennis Gerald, Gordon Hollis, Sean Allen, Marcus Symonds; nieces: Pearl Peoples-Swearingen [Jim], Frieda and Darlene Peoples, Gaynell Hollis, Gena Hollis, Terrilynn Allen, Tamara Richardson, Natasia Symonds; special cousins: LeeAnn Davis, Heather Pitt, Aleathea Rabain [late Anthony]; god children: Sheldon Dowling, Tavio Cann, Rocky Bean, Claire-Anne Raynor, Karim Hewey; special friends: Greg Armstrong, Pete and Jo-Anne Dowling, Reggie and Karen Hewey, Pearman, Scott, Richardson, Blades, Holder, Perinchief, Dill, Horton, Smith, Coddington, People’s Pharmacy, North Village, Butterfield and Vallis Families as well as other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to list but all truly loved and appreciated.
He was predeceased by brothers: Mansfield [Janice], Wallace and Richard Allen; sisters: Elaine Peoples, Marie Hollis [Oliven]; nephews: Garnell Hollis and Dion Richardson; special cousin: Beunice Crockwell.
