A celebration of life service for Velda Marlene Ming will be held on Wednesday, 17th December 2025 at St. John’s Anglican Church, Pembroke at 12:00 noon. The interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
She leaves to be lovingly remembered by her son, Dean [Karen]; grandchildren: Kitwana, Sontoi [Lauren], Cushi and Cushé; great-grandchildren: A’Naijé, DaKayo, Khwai, Sahvi, Yemaya and Saya. Siblings: Denise, Wendy and Benjamin. Nieces and nephews: Juliette, Monique, Gabriela, Damion, Dennis, Sonia, Sean, and Stacey [Aaron], Dominique and their families and other special relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention, here and abroad.
Predeceased by her parents: Hubert Smith Sr. and Olive Smith; children: Wayne and Verdelle Ming; brothers: Hubert Jr. and George Smith; nephew Scott Smith.
