Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Chris Elvin Basden, loving husband of Jacquelyn Basden, loving son of Edith Basden and the late Elvin Basden, father to, Erin Clarke [Maurice], Jordon Basden [Sharmila], Jayce Basden [Taylor], Stepdaughter: Ayesha Brown, brother to Gerald Basden[Cheryl], Claytina Dickinson [Mervyn], Brenda Basden-Francis [Bevon] in his 67th year of Chaingate Hill , Devonshire.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Christ Anglican Church, Devonshire on Friday December 19, 2025 at 11am.
Interment will follow immediately after the service at Christ Anglican Church in Devonshire. Viewings will be held Today, December 18, 2025, at our Orchid Chapel from 6:30p.m.- 8:00p.m. and on Friday December 19, 2025, at Christ Anglican Church Hall from 10:00 a.m -10:50 a.m.
He was the cherished Grandson: Baby J Basden ,Special Grandchildren: Sterling, Olivia and Lenox Brown, Mother of his sons: Zina Basden, Nieces & Nephews: Jevon Dickinson, Kamel Dickinson, Sherena Dickinson, Ebonie McGee, Gerald Basden Jr, Jerome Basden, Kiaune Basden [Chrissy], Antonya Richardson [Elliott], Jasmine Basden, Zavi Roberts, Alahno Basden, Dias and Diah Smith, Jahleel McGee, Zion McGee, Imani McGee. Aunt and Uncles: Ola Roberts and Norman Abbott from Antigua
Cousins: The Abbott family, The Lovell family, The Roberts family, and many more.
Special Friends: Dennis Douglas, Charles Wade, Dean Trott, Dendrick Taylor, Rudell Simons, Vince and Waverley Minors, Mervin Dickinson, Pat Woolridge, The Swan family, Sandra Hunt and many more too numerous to mention.
Chris was pre-deceased by his father, Elvin Charles Basden, Uncle McKinley Basden and Aunt Maybirth Lovell.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love him.
