Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Daphne Ismay Anderson.
A homegoing service for Mrs. Daphne Ismay Anderson, wife of the late Leroy Anderson, daughter of the late Samuel and Laura Bradshaw [nee Ashby], loving mother to Michael Bradshaw [Janet], Kevin Anderson [Jeanne] and Troy Anderson [Olga], Judith Lindo [late Paul], Laurie Debra Daniels [Anton Sr.], the late Derek Anderson [Donna], sister to the late Stanford [late Sylvia] and Herbert Bradshaw, Clarice Bradshaw Philpott-Moore, Waveny Bradshaw [Bean] Weymon and Elfreda Bradshaw, in her 92nd year of 12 Crown Hill Lane, Devonshire DV01, will be held at The Bethel A.M.E. Church, today, April 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Kumi Bradshaw [Dorota], Kieran Bradshaw [Lisa], Derek Anderson II [Cindy], Dominique Willis [Dreyan], Chante’ Caines [Quincy], Courtney Anderson, Ira Ben Israel, Jarreau Daniels, Che Lindo, Troy Jr., Nicole, Arshaun, Natalea and Jaiden Anderson;
great grandchildren: Delcinea and Derek III Anderson, Delaun, Dylan, Draya, and Daisey Willis, Carter and Caris Caines, Ada Bradshaw, and Jax Daniels; nieces: Suzanne Shelton, Ruby Crichton, Donna Bradshaw, Marsha and Simonette Carey, Shelley Anderson, Patricia Giles, and Dr Pamela Thorpe, Tracey Ludwig, Dawnette Belton, Shawnette DeRosa, and Leah Mello; nephews: Robin Trott, Alan, Stanford Eugene “Jinks”, Earlston, Jerome, and Stanford Wayne Bradshaw, John Philpott, Randolph Bean Jr., Wendell Anderson, William “Billy” Francis, Larry Jr. and Danjou Anderson; special family and friends: Edmina Bradshaw, Jennifer Clark, Victoria Anderson, Lynette Smith, Anne Saltus, Winifred Joell, Iris Emery, Madeline Daisley and Camnine Outerbridge, Irene Hall [Beaz] the Anderson family, Bethel AME family, Crawl Church family, Bank of Bermuda Retirees family. Daphne was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Anderson, son Derek I, parents, siblings, in-laws and many other family members and close friends too numerous to mention. Colors may be worn. Daphne especially loved purple.
