Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Manuel de Silva Raposo at the age of 89 in St. George’s Parish. He was the beloved son of the late Miguel de Silva Raposo and the late Diamantina de Silva Raposo and beloved husband of Evangeline Caballero Raposo.
Manuel was predeceased by his first wife, Marta Raposo; his sister and brother-in-law, Maria Olivia Martins and Joe Martins; his brother John Raposo; his niece, Lucia Faria and her husband, Tony.
He is survived by his daughters, Marina Resendes (Paulo) and Sophia de Sa (Paulo), as well as his grandchildren Ryan, Nadia, Ashley (Andreas), and Felicia (Jayson), and great-grandchildren Ahmai, Abriella, and Amor. Manuel will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends.
JRoc Communications will live stream the Funeral Mass and interment on their YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/jrocbda. The Service will be held on Tuesday, 4th of August 2026 at 3:00 pm at Stella Maris Church, 3 Duke of Clarence Street, St. George’s Parish. The interment will follow immediately after the service at Stella Maris Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George’s Parish. Attendees are welcome to wear colors. As Manuel said, “Black won’t bring him back.”
