Photo Gallery: Ag Show Security Measures
We have just returned from the Agricultural Exhibition and have a photo gallery depicting the extensive police presence. We were only there for around 10 mins to quickly grab these photos, and counted 24 police officers in the grounds, and at least 8 on the perimeter gates.
There were multiple police cars, and also private security guards could be seen. In total, in our 10 mins there we saw approximately 40 officers and vehicles combined.
The Police Mobile Unit is there, however we were unable to get close enough at that time to see if it was manned as the area was cordoned off.
The Ag Show has been subject to numerous rumours, including that gangs will bury guns to evade detection. In an unspoken admission of the recent crime wave, the Department of Parks detailed the security procedures that will be taken including having visitors passing through metal detectors, closed circuit television cameras, police stationed at all entrances and through the grounds as well as private security guards.

This is sureal. 100% of the Police out in force. Officers chasing down suspects in serious crimes, attending too accidents, managing the Stations et al.
Sit back and reflect on my comments. Some may agree a few that I know will think I’m certafiable.
