Photos & Results: 2011 BTFA Track & Field Meet

The Bermuda Track and Field Association [BTFA] held a track meet yesterday afternoon [Mar.12] at the National Stadium, and saw yet another local athlete qualify for the upcoming 2011 Carifta Games which will be held Jamaica from April 23-25.

During the under/17 girls 1500 meter run Shuntae Hendrickson [pictured below] met the Carifta A Standard when she crossed the line in 5:09.06.

David Darrell won the under/17 boys 200 meter dash finishing in a time of 26.74, while in the under/17 girls 800 meter race DeZhane West crossed the line in a time of 2:32.70 to take the top spot with Quaashie Douglas finished second in 2:34.25 and Quinn Outerbridge finished third in 2:36.52.
