Video: Dockyard On Its Past & Tourism Future
Built in the 19th century and marking its 200th anniversary in 2009, Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard was once one of the largest British naval fortifications outside the United Kingdom. Today it is one of the island’s primary tourism hubs.
Located at the westernmost end of the island, the Dockyard is Bermuda’s largest cruise port and is capable of accommodating two large ships at the same time during the cruise season.
With shops, museums and restaurants located throughout its historic buildings and grounds to cater to visitors, the Dockyard this week released this new promotional video highlighting its must-see attractions.
