Store Employee Denies Stealing Over $18,000
In Magistrates Court this morning [May 6], a 44-year-old man pleaded not guilty to charges that he stole from the Marketplace store in Sandys Parish while working at the establishment.
David Scott, who had been working as an assistant manager at the Marketplace supermarket in Sandys Parish, pleaded not guilty to stealing currency, cheques, and gift certificates belonging to the store on May 3, 2014. The total value of the stolen property was alleged to be over $18,000.
Senior Magistrate Archie Warner remanded him into custody.
