Premier, First Division Weekend Cricket Results

PHC, Flatt’s Victoria, Southampton Rangers,Somerset Cricket Club and St. David’s Cricket Club all recorded wins this weekend in the Bermuda Cricket Board’s First and Premier Division action.

St. David’s Win by 6 Wickets: Willow Cuts 92 St. David’s Cricket Club 93/4

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Willow Cuts batted first and were bowled all out for 92. Sheroy Fubler was the top scorer with 23, while Rudell Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 10-2-27-3 and George O’Brien bowled 10-1-28-3.

In between the innings, a disturbance involving fans and players ensued resulting in the Police having to be called, order was restored before St. David’s Cricket Club began their reply.

In reply they scored 93/4, with Fiqre Crockwell the top scorer with 31, Kavon Fubler returned bowling figures of 4-0-23-2 for Willow Cuts.

Somerset Win by 68 Runs: Somerset Cricket Club 232 St. George’s Cricket Club 164

At the Somerset Cricket Club, the home team batted first and were bowled all out for 232, Joshua Gilbert was the top scorer with 37, Makai Young was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 1-0-4-3.

In reply the St. George’s Cricket Club were bowled all out for 164, Charlie Marshall Jr. was the top scorer with 27, while Kwasi James returned bowling figures of 3-0-23-3 to lead the Somerset Cricket Club bowling attack.

Southampton Rangers Win by 4 Wickets: Cleveland County 171 [137] Southampton Rangers 141/6

At the Wellington Oval, Cleveland County were bowled all out for 171, Adrian Burrows was their top scorer with 56, while Ryan Belboda returned bowling figures of 10-1-38-4 to lead the Southampton Rangers bowling attack.

In reply rain halted play and reduced the Southampton Rangers target to 137 in 40 overs, they scored 141/6 to win on Run Rate. Dion Stovell was the top scorer with 58, while Allan Douglas Jr. was the pick of the Cleveland County bowers with figures of 6-0-22-2.

Flatt’s Victoria Win by 9 Wickets: Warwick Workman’s Club 159 Flatt’s Victoria 160/1

At the Southampton Oval, Warwick Workman’s Club batted first and scored 159 all out, with Lionel Cann the top scorer with 34, while Dejon Benjamin added 30. Kijuan Franks led the Flatt’s Victoria bowling attack with figures of 9-2-30-4, while Nelson Bascome bowled 8-1-30-3.

In reply Flatt’s Victoria scored 160/1, Franks was the top scorer with 68, while Cofield Robinson added 50 not out, Cameron Jeffers was the only wicket taker for Warwick Workman’s Club returning figures of 4-0-37-1.

PHC Win by 17 Runs: PHC 90 Devonshire Recreation Club 73

At the PHC Stadium, PHC won the toss and elected to bat they were bowled all out for 90, Elsworth Bean was the top scorer with 29, while Sheridan Ming added 25. Denar Johnson was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 6.2-2-18-4.

In reply the Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled all out for 73, captain Steven Bremar was the top scorer with 26, Jahkhari Hollis was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 6-0-20-4 and Charles Trott bowled 10-0-30-4.
