TROIKA Bermuda To Host ‘Groove’ Workshop
TROIKA Bermuda is getting set to host their third performing arts master class workshop, with the event – titled ‘Groove’ – promising to offer dance instruction on March 28, 2015 at the Berkeley Institute.
A spokesperson said, “This event is focused on bringing Bermudian dancers together with the industry’s top professional choreographers in a fun, challenging, non-competitive environment that fosters self-fulfillment and development. The event will feature intense master classes from the top working choreographers in the entertainment industry [globally].
“Participants will also have the opportunity to benefit from a Q&A with the faculty as well as group photo opportunities with the faculty and participants.
“The international instructors participating in this event are some of the most sought after dancers and choreographers in the world. Their work includes choreographing for concert tours, feature films, music videos and commercials.”
“They have worked with artist such as Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Ciara, Usher, Janet Jackson, Fifth Harmony, Pharell, Fergie, Diddy, Beenie Man, and Sean Paul, to name a few.
“This event will include two local and three international choreographers. The local choreographers are Kioshi Burgess [Beginners Hip Hop] and Rikkai Scott [Contemporary]. The international choreographers include Kaelynn Harris [Hip Hop], Sean Bankhead [Hip Hop] and Neeks Money [Dancehall & Soca Wukshop].
“The Beginners Hip Hop class and the Soca Wukshop are both open to all dance levels.”
The cost for classes, which are limited, starts at $10 in advance, with early bird discounts available until March 14, 2015. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
