  3. JAWS says:

Why are making things so easy for Jamiko Bean.

Mr. Bean for every hour that you avoid police custody the Bermuda Courts are adding 30 days extra per hour to your time.

    Everyone who agree tick “Like”

Escaped while being transported…hmmmm? Ok so…He exited a moving vehicle…and disappeared. Sooooo many questions, so little answers.

    • No Surprise here! says:

Sad to say it would not surprise me if Mr.Bean escaped while enjoying take-out with the BPS at the Wok. Just like earlier this year when they enjoyed dining at Spotlight Cafe for lunch whilst being “transported”. Aka A joyride on taxpayers money and time.

I’m trying to picture if there are any traffic lights in that area but my mind is going blank (sorry, I’m an East End person) as the car could have stopped for a light and he could have taken off. It could have even happened when they slowed down for an intersection or something-he probably planned that the first time they slowed down or stopped he was jumping out.

On another note, I know that ordinary citizens are not trained in dealing with criminals but when it comes to stuff like this (not armed and dangerous prisoners), all you need is a few able-bodied men to capture someone. For example, if a group of strong, able-bodied men spotted him and knew for sure that it was him, why not hold onto him until the police come (e.g. ‘citizen’s arrest’)? What did we do generations ago before there were police? It was left up to the ordinary men of the town to take charge. I know there’s liability issues and all that but by the time the police come, he could have moved onto the next place. He could be on the loose sleeping rough for weeks.

N.B. I’m using the term ‘criminal’ in the context of what he’s doing now alone and not for what he was up for in the first place, as this act alone now makes him a criminal.

Please tell me what handcuffs are for! This isn’t the first time someone has escaped police custody! When will they learn?

  9. Dropped the Ball says:

Interesting. Could he not assist them from the comfort of a jail cell? Some laxidaisy cop work it seems.

    • Raymond Ray says:

I wonder why the police not use a Taser gun to prevent things like this from happening? :-(

      • Positive Pessimist says:

What-they’re supposed to tase him all the way down in the car? He probably jumped out of the car before the cops could react and get the tasers out. From just Googling it, standard police tasers usually emit out to a maximum of 30 feet and he could have been further away by the time they reacted.

  10. Y-Gurl says:

Oh boy…they hardly catch them and when they do…they can’t hold them

    • Self says:
