Tennis: Trey Mallory Makes It To Finals In Florida
Bermudian tennis player Trey Mallory recently competed in the Big Mo International Tennis Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the PGA National Resort.
Players throughout the world compete in this prestigious tennis tournament for bragging rights in each age division.
Trey Mallory made it to the boys 14′s singles final going down 6-2, 7-5 to Oskar Hakonen of Estonia.
On his way to the final, Mallory upset the #1 seed from Norway and the #3 seed from Netherlands Antilles.
Mallory topped off his performance in the tournament by winning the boys 14′s doubles with partner Nikolas Tvedt from Norway; defeating Jakub Ostajewski of Poland and Juan Sebastian Dominguez Collada of Guatemala 4-6, 6-2, 10-5.
Mallory will now represent Bermuda in the upcoming Junior Orange Bowl in Miami Florida starting December 14th.
