Minors Takes Career Total To 15 Championships
Bermuda’s Dage Minors — who competes for Franklin Pierce University — is literally running around picking up accolades, as on the heels of being named the Northeast-10 Conference Track Athlete of the Week four times this winter, he has now chalked up four more NE10 Conference titles, pushing his career total to 15 championships.
The school’s report said, “Senior Dage Minors [Hamilton Parish, Bermuda] chalked up four Northeast-10 Conference titles on Saturday, pushing his career total to 15 championships and leading the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team to a fifth-place finish at the Northeast-10 Championship, held at Reggie Lewis Center.
“Minors took home an individual title in the 800 meters and also anchored the Ravens’ distance medley, 4×400-meter and 4×800-meter relay squads, all of which were victorious.
“Minors picked up his individual title in the 800 meters, an event in which he is the fastest man in the nation. He turned in a time of 1:54.42 to win on Saturday, picking up 10 points for the Ravens in the process.”
