The final matches of the Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s Women’s League season took place at the National Sports Centre, before the Bermuda National XV hosted New York Athletic Club [NYAC].

The win kept Renegades’ hopes of winning the League alive, but needed Mariners to upset Police in the second game of the night.
After an exciting, but scoreless first half, the League’s top try scorer, Jo Murray, inevitably broke the deadlock with a fine finish for Police, but National 7s team player Amanda Swan equalized almost immediately and Mariners held on for the draw, which ultimately handed Renegades the League title.
The night’s action concluded with touring New York Athletic Club defeating Bermuda’s National XV squad 28-14.
John Quigley equalized for Bermuda, after an early score from the visitors, and before Darren Richardson touched down under the posts to give Bermuda a 14-7 lead approaching half time.
The tourists hit back just before the break, and despite many impressive individual performances within the Bermuda ranks, NYAC scored twice more without reply to win 28-14.
