100WF Donates $20K To Centre Against Abuse

The 100 Women in Finance [100WF] Gala held in June at the Commissioner’s House supported the  Centre Against Abuse [CAA], resulting in the Gala Committee making a donation of $20,000 to support the CAA’s programmes.

A spokesperson said, “The inaugural Bermuda event was attended by leaders in the financial services industry, and guests included the Deputy Governor of Bermuda, Ginny Ferson, and former Premier of Bermuda Michael Dunkley.”

“On 31st August, members of 100WF’s Gala Committee made a donation of $20,000 to support the CAA’s programmes, providing crisis support services to adult victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and bringing awareness to the community by providing building blocks for healthy relationships.

“The raffle to win two American Airlines tickets, sponsored by Worldview Travel Ltd., was won by Kareem James, Senior Relationship Manager at Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited. 100WF thanks Worldview Travel Ltd. for its generous donation of the prize.”
