Basketball League: Falcons & Hornets Win
Fans were yet again treated to a Bermuda Basketball Elite City League double header inside the Somersfield Academy, with the night producing 278 points.
The Falcons defeated the Renegades 87 – 51 in the opener; Kevin Stephens led the Falcons scoring 24 points, he also had 15 Rebounds, 4 Assist and 3 Steals, while Phillip Burgess scored 12 points for the Renegades, he also had 10 Rebounds, 2 Assist, 2 Steals and 2 Blocked Shots.
Game Two saw the Hornets defeat the Lions 76 – 64, Alex Butterfield scored 23 points for the Hornets, he had 14 Rebounds, 1 Assist 2 Steals and 1 Blocked Shot, while
Jericho Tucker scored 22 points for the Lions, to go along with his 9 Rebounds, 2 Assist and 2 Steals.
