Police Confirm Death Of 64-Year-Old Man
The police have confirmed the death of a 64-year-old man following a collision in Sandys.
A police spokesperson said, “At 1:10pm on today [Dec 24] police and other first responders attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving a mini-bus and a car located at Somerset Road and Mangrove Bay Road, Sandys Parish.
“It was reported that the driver of the van, a 64-year-man as a result of a medical incident was rendered unconscious and his van rolled into a car.
“EMS personnel arrived on the scene and transported him immediately to KEMH via ambulance, however he was pronounced dead at 2.00pm by a hospital doctor.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.”
