Ball Hockey Play-Offs: Rimouski, Red Deer Win
The Bermuda Ball Hockey Play-offs continued with a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink that saw 8 goals scored.
Rimouski Oceanic 1 – Guelph Storm 0
Rimouski Oceanic have leveled their series against the Guelph Storm at 1 – 1 with a 1 – 0 win.
The lone goal of this game came off the stick of Matthew Benson in the second period.
Worchester Railers 3 – Red Deer Rebels 4
The nightcap saw the Red Deer Rebels defeat the Worchester Railers 4 – 3. The Red Deer Rebels held a 2 – 1 lead at the end of the first period with goals from Jeremy Estey and Warren Miller, while Troy Dort scored for the Worcester Railers.
The two teams then scored a goal each in the second period as the Red Deer Rebels got a goal from Chris Grantier, while the Worchester Railers’ goal came from Ryan Pink.
Tom Miller then drew the Worchester Railers level in the third period, however Estey scored his second goal of the game, and it proved to be the winner, as his team claimed the 4-3 victory.
