Flora Duffy Will Not Race In Abu Dhabi Triathlon
Bermuda’s Flora Duffy said that she will not compete in the ITU World Triathlon Series in Abu Dhabi which is set to be held from March 8-9th, saying “she is not quite ready to race yet.”
In a post on her Instagram page, Ms Duffy said, “Hi everyone, sadly no @wtsabudhabi for me. Training is going well and seeing lots of progress but I am just not quite ready to race yet.
“Need a few more layers of consistency. Have to make sure I am 100% ready to go before I am back on the blue carpet. Hard call to make but hopefully the best for the long term.
Duffy concluded, “Now I have extra #mondaymotivation for @worldtriathlonbermuda! #wtsbermuda”.
The next race on the 2019 ITU World Triathlon Series Calendar is the MS Amlin World Triathlon set to be held in Bermuda on April 27/28.
