International Women’s Day celebrations are taking place this afternoon [March 8] at the City Hall, with the event billed as an “inspiring hour of celebration and motivational speeches.” We will have a photo gallery and additional coverage later on, and in the meantime the live video is below.

What’s the significance of the hand gestures – balance i.e. equality? Done incorrectly it could look like they are expressing uncertainty. That’s exactly the wrong message Bermuda’s women want to get across on International Women’s Day.
