Photo Set #1: Bermuda Day Heritage Parade
Thousands of people lined the streets today [May 24] for the always-popular Bermuda Day Heritage Parade which saw Gombey troupes, dance groups, majorettes, marching bands, floats, and more make their way through the streets of Hamilton.
The parade got underway on Front Street this afternoon, following the cycling and half-marathon races, which were held earlier in the day. You can view all our Bermuda Day coverage by clicking here.

never seen so many bored looking people on the parade and the amount of trash littering the sidewalks and roads was disgusting.
Are you hallucinating? I wasn’t there but I am not seeing trash, maybe you are looking in a mirror.
OMG who’s idea was it to have Trina stop each participant while dancing and telling people who they are for half an hour between each float,OMG really? there was no flow, people were falling asleep.
To all those earnest and good people that made all those efforts to participate and partake in this celebratory endeavor…I say…thank you.
Thank you also to BP’s…and emergency services for being there for us!
