2019 Bermuda Stroke Play Golf Gets Underway
The 1st round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships got underway at Port Royal Golf Course yesterday under warm humid conditions.
Despite the challenging conditions, there were some good scores. In the Men’s Championship Division, a visitor from the United States, Alan Smith shot a 1-under par 70 followed by local favourite, Jarryd Dillas who came in at even par.
In the Ladies Division, Laura Robinson is leading the field with a 76 with Tariqah Walikraam only one stroke behind with a 77.
In the Men’s Senior Division, Chris Phillips shot a 75 with Ian Page 3 shots behind and in the Ladies Senior Division, Linda Down is leading the field with Tracy Nash only one shot behind.
