Carey Olsen Shortlisted For International Award
Carey Olsen is a finalist in the International Legal Team of the Year category at the 2019/20 STEP Private Client Awards, with the company saying it makes it the “only law firm with a Bermuda-affiliated office to gain a nomination in this or any category.”
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners [STEP] awards, which take place on Wednesday 25 September in London, are seen as the hallmark of quality within the private client industry, recognising and celebrating excellence among private client solicitors, lawyers, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisers. The winners in each category will be decided by an expert judging panel that includes internationally renowned practitioners in the wealth management arena.

This year saw a record breaking 314 entries for the awards with the expert judging panel shortlisting 66 firms and 12 individuals from across 12 countries. Carey Olsen is one of five finalists for the International Legal Team of the Year [midsize firm] category.
Keith Robinson, the partner who leads the trusts practice at Carey Olsen Bermuda, said: “The STEP Private Client Awards are among the most coveted in the trusts and private wealth sector and it is an achievement to have reached the shortlist for International Legal Team of the Year.
“Our trusts team at Carey Olsen Bermuda continues to go from strength to strength as we build an impressive list of local and international clients to whom we are grateful for their instructions.”
