Bermuda Rugby Team Compete In Cayman
The Bermuda Rugby Football Union National Men’s and Women’s 7’s teams started competing in the Rugby America North 7s Tournament in the Cayman Islands, with both teams winning and losing games on the first day of action.
The women’s team went down 55 – 0 to Jamaica and by a score 37 – 0 to Mexico, however they also claimed a 15 – 10 win over the Bahamas.
The men’s team finished with a win and two defeats; Bermuda went down 31 – 0 to Mexico in their opener, but they bounced back to defeat Barbados 17 – 15 in game two, before closing out with a 55 – 0 defeat at the hands of Canada.
