Hong Kong Defeat Bermuda By 3 Wickets
Bermuda’s opening game of the Cricket Challenge League B in Oman saw Hong Kong defeat Bermuda by three wickets.
Hong Kong won the toss and send Bermuda to bat, Bermuda scored 291/8, with the help of a 65 run 8th wicket partnership between Onias Bascome who scored 43 off 31 deliveries and Sinclair Smith who scored 24 off 24. Kamau Leverock and Tre Manders were Bermuda’s top scorers both scored 63, Leverock’s came in 40 balls he hit 13 fours and 1 six, while Manders in his return from injury hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in his 89 ball stay at the crease, Aftab Hussain was the pick of the Hong Kong bowlers with figures of 10-0-39-3.
In reply Hong Kong scored 294/7 in 49.2 overs, Kincit Shah was their top scorer with 116 not out off 135 deliveries, Bascome was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 10-0-49-2.
