Cyclists Compete In Valley Of Sun Bike Race
Kaden Hopkins, Dominique Mayho, Nicholas Narraway and Caitlin Conyers all began competing in the Valley of the Sun Bike Race, which is a three-day event in which Professional and Amateur Road Racing Cyclists of different categories.
During the Time Trial Pro 1 Men’s Division, Hopkins finished 16th clocking a time of 29:45.440, Mayho finished 57th clocking 32:57.740
Conyers finished the Time Trial Women’s Pro 1 / 2 Division in 10th place clocking 33:18.300, competing in the Time Trial Junior 17-18 B Division, Narraway finished 20th with a time of 32:08.390.
Stage Two was a Road Race with Narraway clocked across the line in a time of 2:28.20.
Hopkins clocked a time of 3:29.22 finishing 11th, while Mayho finished with the pack clocking the same time and was ruled 25th across the line. Hopkins is 12th overall with a combined time of 3:59.07, he is 1:30 behind the overall leader Magnus Sheffield, while Mayho is 42nd overall with a time of 4:02.19, he is 5:01 behind the leader.
Conyers finished 6th with a time of 2:45.52, her time sees her heading into the final day in 7th place with an overall time of 3:19.09, Conyers is 2:35 behind the Division leader Summer Moak.
