John McSweeney & Larissa Roche Join Appleby
Appleby Bermuda is welcoming John McSweeney and Larissa Roche to its Dispute Resolution and Corporate department.
A spokesperson said, “Mr. McSweeney is an associate within the Dispute Resolution department in Bermuda. Prior to joining Appleby, Mr. McSweeney was a litigation associate in another Bermuda law firm where he represented clients in a wide range of civil and commercial disputes. He regularly appears before the Magistrates’ Court, Supreme Court and statutory tribunals.
“His breadth of knowledge enables him to be versatile and provide clients with timely and sound advice. In addition to being admitted in Bermuda, Mr. McSweeney has also been admitted in England and Massachusetts. Mr. McSweeney is Bermudian.”

The spokesperson said, “Ms. Roche is an associate in the Corporate department of Appleby’s Bermuda office. Prior to joining Appleby, Ms. Roche articled and then practiced at a top tier Canadian law firm in Calgary, Alberta.
“Her diverse practice covers all areas of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, amalgamations, reorganisations, general corporate and insurance law, aviation and joint ventures.”
Ms. Roche said, “I am very excited to be joining Appleby and look forward to becoming part of such a dynamic team.”
