Swimming: Esposito Helps UMBC Finish 2nd
Vanessa Esposito concluded representing the University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] women’s swimming and diving at the 2020 America East Swimming and Diving Championships.
Esposito and her teammates finished second to New Hampshire, New Hampshire scored a total of 876 points, while the UMBC women compiled 759.5, ahead of five other squads.
On the final day of competition, Esposito finished 7th in the women’s 200 yard freestyle a final touching the wall in a time of 1:53.68. In the Preliminaries, Esposito clocked the second fastest qualifying time of 1:52.42 to advance to the final.
