We regret to announce the passing of Calvin James McDonald Smith.
On Friday evening, August 21, 2020, Mr. Calvin James McDonald Smith, loving husband to Jeannine and father of two, died peacefully at the age of 87.
Calvin, born on July 09, 1933 in Tuckers Town, Bermuda, was preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Pearman, and mother, Ruth Luclair Burgess [née Smith] and step-father, Floyd Burgess. He is survived by his wife Jeannine; two sons, Christopher [Charmaine] and Steven [Miriam]; grandchildren, Kyle, Jireh, Manning and Gordon; nieces, nephews and special friends.
A Memorial Mass for Mr. Calvin James McDonald Smith will be held on Friday, September the 4th, 2020, at St. Theresa’s Cathedral on Cedar Avenue, at 4 o’clock p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, associated with St. Theresa’s Cathedral in Hamilton, Bermuda.
