Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Clarence Eugene “Big Smith” Smith.
A homegoing service for Clarence Eugene “Big Smith” Smith, son of the late Ashton and Edith Smith, husband of the late Ina Smith and Janice Smith, loving father to Gary [Bulla] [Dawn], Norman [ Papa] Dowling, Terrence Smith, Virginia [Annie] Dowling, Jean Outerbridge, Candice Burrows [Lee], Dawnnette White [Gary] and the late Bettyanne Pierre and Ruth Smith, in his 90th year of 1 Crawl Point Lane West, Hamilton Parish, will be held at St. Mark’s Church, Smith’s, Today, February 10, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; extended family Kathy Dowling, Andrea Smith and Dowling/Lee families; specail nieces: Corrine Parris and Pamela Adams; godchildren: Lynn White, Randall Wooldridge, Marvin Iris, Roxanne Eve and Francine Saltus; caregivers: Zina Godwin and Denielle Ararat; special and caring neighbours: Albert [Termite] and Pam Trott; special friends: Mr. Alan Burland, Rodney Repose, Mr. T. Saunders, Ervin “Shoe” Young, Joyce Davis and family, Cheryl Iris and family, Clyde and Ida Burgess, Pastor Joseph King and 1st Lady King and The Gospel Tebernacle Family; many other relatives and friends to numerous to mention.
Clarence was predeased by siblings Ashfield Smith, Lucille Adams and Ruth Smith; and great-grandson Keni Durrant-Outerbridge.

Service can be viewed on TNN. The color pink and green can be worn. Covid-19 precautions and social distancing are to be observed.
