A Homegoing service for Dorcas Bernice Rose Clair Harvey wife of the late L. Stuart F. Harvey and loving mother to Brenda [Orlando] Phillips, grandmother to Troy Phillips and daughter of the late Nellie Theodosia Louise Smith, born April 21, 1924. Special daughter Nadine [Jerry] Fletcher and special grandson Sinclair Hill [US]. Aunt Mary Williams, Lloyd [Mildred] and Michael [Marcelle] Williams. Nephews – Ralph York [Marie], Dennis Hart, Neville [Ellsworth] Smith, Andre Smith, W. Derrick [Cleopatra] Mallory, Wayne [Nelda] Smith, David [Joy] Smith, [Bermuda], Leonard Smith [US], Geoffrey and Steven Smith, Derek II, John, Edward, [UK]. Nieces – Belinda [Derek] Wellman, Paulette Smith, Sherma Simmons, Andrea Mallory Bermuda, Nell [Alan] Cavon [Canada], Janice, Susan, Lorraine, Zena and Tyra [UK]. Will be held at St. Paul AME , today Monday May 23, 2022 at 1pm.
Interment will be at Cemetery St. Johns Cemetery
Lovingly survived by grandchild: Troy Phillips [Canada]; special grandson: Sinclair Hill of the United States; special cousin: Emily Simmons of Bermuda; in-laws: the late Jean Dillas, Nada Butler, Earl [Plunky] and Ronald Harvey.
Dorcas was predeceased by Eldine Smith, Marion [Aquilla] Smith, Chesterfield [Bookie] Smith [Bermuda] and Wesley [Cookie] J.J. Smith [UK]. In-laws predeceased Mildred [Jean] Dillas, Nadine [Nada] Butler, Errol and Ronald Harvey.
