Viewing will be held from 3:00 to 3:50 p.m. prior to service only. In her 105th year, she was the widow of Bishop Norris N. Dickenson; the aunt of Dr. Glenn Bascome [Jennifer], Paula Tucker [Anthony] and Deborah Bascome; the great aunt of Kent [Theresa], Chandra-lee, Rodney and Dr. Jenson Bascome [Lanan], Keenan Tucker [Kathy] and Arlita Bascome-McCook [Michael]; the great, great aunt of Jordan, Tara, Rodae, Desnee and Anaiya Bascome and Amia and Alexa McCook; and the stepmother of Marjorie Kelly [Winston] and Rev. Dr. Maybelle Denwiddie [Apostle Rev. Dr. Jimmie]. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Dr. Robert Henry Disney Bascome and Mrs. Arletta Jane Bascome [nee Gilbert] and her siblings, Rev. Hope Bascome and Egbert [Bert] Bascome. Extended family include Bascome, Paynter, Boone, Gilbert, Grant and Butterfield descendants and her United Holy Church brothers and sisters.
