We regret to announce the passing of Joycelyn Burnette [White] Darrell.
Funeral service for Joycelyn Burnette [White] Darrell, in her 94th year, beloved wife of 70 years to Ivan Darrell of Ijoy, #1Collector’s Close, Smith’s, will be held November 18, 2020 at 1pm with grave side interment service at St. Mark’s cemetery, Smith’s Parish.
Joycelyn is survived by her husband Ivan, sister: Elsa Mckay, sister-in-law: Barbara Arorash. Children: Colin [Kathy] Darrell, Robin Darrell, Diane [Johnell] Dotson and daughter-in-law Necole Darrell. Grandchildren: Nicole [Dan] Edmunds, Kaylin Darrell, Sherkyta Roberts, Karissa [Chris] Lea, Robin [Stefan] Dupres, Honor Darrell, Craig [Melissa] Dotson, Melody [Brian] Crosby, Christina [William] Wood; Great grands: Tamsin, Kayze, Mila, Mason, Karis, Martika, Michaela, Cassondra, Martin, Malcolm. Special nieces and friends: Sherrilyn [Tappy White] DeSilva, Judy Perinchief, Melvina Chapman-Pearman. Godchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by son Dane Curtis Darrell, brother Dudley [Jean] White, sister Gloria [Leon] Goater. She is lovingly remembered by the Darrell, White, Mckay, Paynter, Dotson, Crosby, Wood, Edmunds, Dupres, Bean, Farquharson, Allen, Arorash families and her Jehovah Witness Congregation and friends.In accordance with COVID-19 restrictions and the Department of Heath requirements, social distance must be observed and mask must be worn.
