Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Llewellyn Eugene O’Neill Hackett

A Homegoing service for Llewellyn Eugene O’Neill Hackett of Smith’s Parish in his 95th year, son of Dudley and Lillian Hackett, wife and mother of children, Ada Hackett, loving father of R. Wynette Word, Ulys Burch, Michelle Caisey, Dionne Hackett and Pamela Hayward, brother of Hermoine Sealy and Gwendolyn Hackett, will be held ON Saturday, 11 March 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at Christ Anglican Church, Middle Road, Devonshire. Colours may be worn. [Blue was his favourite.]

Interment will follow at Christ Anglican Cemetery.

Viewing will be held prior to the service in the Old Devonshire Church from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Wynette Word [Herbert Sr.], Ulys Burch [Kenneth], Michelle Caisey, Dionne Hackett; step-children: Leon Stevens, Jr., Sharonlyn Wilson, Joycelyn [Sari] and Calvin [Mercurius] Richardson, Deborah Van-Putten [Mervyn]; grandchildren Tanya Word, Herbert Word, Jr. [Kira], Sheldon Caisey, Shaun Caisey [Natasha], Eugenia Stright, Ryan Hayward; great-grandchildren: Naishe Durrant, Kennedi Uipenham, Jada Stright, Narayan Hayward, Azaniah Caisey, Annaniah Caisey, Olivia Word, Wyatt Word, great-great-grandchildren: Jayle Darrell, Nasir Richardson; niece: Hazel Blunt and family; special cousins: Barbara Astwood, Betty Reid; special friend: Ada Franks; and other relatives and friends both in Bermuda and abroad.

He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, first wife Ada Hackett, second wife Vesta Hackett, daughter Pamela Hayward, and sons-in-law, Cecil Caisey and Llewellyn Hayward.
