A Service Celebrating the Life of Myrtle Edness beloved wife of Arnold Edness [deceased], loving mother to Alan Edness [deceased] and Maureen Edness Eddy, devoted grandmother to Melanie Eddy, Jason Eddy and Alexandra Lymbery Edness and great grandmother to Alaya Sealey in her 109th year of life of “Eltrym Heights” #41 Tribe Road No. 1, South Shore, Warwick East will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11am, at Christ Church, Warwick.

There will be no viewing.

Interment to follow at Christ Church Warwick Cemetery.

Lovingly remembered by niece Dame Jennifer Smith, nephew Andrew [Andy] Smith, son in law Russell Eddy, daughter in law Catharine Lymbery, great nieces Keeva Joell-Benjamin, Karli Smith, and Kara Smith, and great nephews Christopher Joell-DeShields, Jacy Smith and Jevon Joell plus many other relatives, godchildren and numerous friends in Bermuda and abroad.

Myrtle Edness was predeceased by her parents Adulcie DeShield [née Simons] and Gerald DeShield, her brother Gerald [Sleepy] DeShield Jr., her sister Lillian Smith [née DeShield], sister-in-law Ismay DeShield [née Tuzo], brother in law Eugene Smith and many special friends.

The family request colours to be worn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Cobbs Hill Methodist Church, Christ Church Warwick, Girlguiding Bermuda and Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
