Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Norwood Herbert Riley Smith “Sluggo” son of the late John Smith and Abelle Riley Smith in his 82nd year of 3 Cedars Lane, Sandys. Interment of life will be held at St. James Church, Today, December 3rd at 11am. Subscribing to all Covid-19 protocols, a jubilation inclusive of the Eulogy will occur at Somerset Cricket Club immediately following the internment. “Sluggo” was the beloved father to Carlos Brown [Renée], Stephen Stark [Samantha], Robert Stark [deceased], and Racháel Robinson. Grandfather to Jacinto & Tyriq Brown; Amy, Mike, & Abby Stark; Kyiah & Kenya Robinson. Brother to Reggie Ming [deceased] [Valerie] & Leslie Ming [Phyllis]. Predeceased by sisters Mozelle Dillon [Ronald], Thyra Lee, and Gwyneth Smith. Nephews Alexander Ming [Tracy] & Vernon Simons. Nieces Zita Smith [Donald], O’Shandah Ming; Vernelle Symonds; Lisa Lee Dickenson [Curtis], Tina Gibbons [Treadwell] Close Friends & Relatives, Howard Berkeley, Rudy Smith, Eileen Best, Clyde Best, Rose Hart, Hilgrove Riley [Pearl], & Johnny Barnard.
Remaining family [Rileys, Smiths, Bests, Mings] and friends will be mentioned in a special tribute. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PALS or Meals on Wheels. There will be no viewing.
