A service celebrating the life of Sylvia Lynn Wade, beloved mother of Shanika and Shae [Emma] Wade, and beloved daughter of the late Iris Marlene “Lene” Young and Julian Cherry Young Jr., in her 55th year of 1 Valley Lane Paget, PG 05, will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 90 Main Road, Somerset on Friday August 16th, 2019 at 6:00pm. Interment to follow at St. James cemetery.
Colors may be worn.
Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects Thursday evening only August 15th at Amis Memorial Chapel, 8Khyber Pass, Warwick from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.
She is also survived by Grandsons: Azakai and Luke Wade Sisters: Paulette, Jennifer and Raynell [Elvon] Brothers: Eugene “Gene”, Raymond [Debra] and Vernon Aunts: Valerie “Junie” Johnston, Anne “Tookie” Anderson, Sandra Bean, Leonette “Net” Clarke [Reginald], Sharon Gibbons [Eugene], Winifred Smith, Rochelle Lecomte [Eric], Mary Maybury [Dennis], Varlerie Arorash and Vernora Dawson Uncles: Herbert “Nookie” Anderson [Matilda “Que”] and Ellington “Elty” Anderson [Tracy], Henry Young, Vernon Harrison, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Sylvia is predeceased by Mother: Iris Marlene “Lene” Young Father: Julian Cherry Young Jr.
