Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Valerie Bernice Bean.A Homegoing service for Valerie Bernice Bean, daughter of the late Walter A. Bean Sr. and Vioda B Bean, sister and best friend, Connie Butterfield [Irving], sister to Carlton Bean and the late Walter A. Bean Jr. [Jean], in her 75th year formerly of Glebe Road, Pembroke, will be held at St. John’s Church, Today, June 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be at Cemetery St. John’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
She is lovingly survived by nephews: Irving Shawn Butterfield [Lisa] and Donovan Bean; nieces: Carlamay Bean, Keisha Johnson [Kanal], Shakeah Smith [Desai] and Ciara Butterfield; great-nephews: Nizigh Spence, Damani Baker, Irving Ethan Butterfield, Christian Butterfield, Kovi Smith and Kario Baily; great-nieces: Michaela Bean, Jordan Butterfield, Emma Kempe and T’eri Smith; great-great-niece: K. Gabriella Fraser; godsons: Arthur Richards, Orande Smith and Patraic Castle; goddaughters: Heather Stevens, Cadre Steeves and Verdena Davis and numerous other extended family and friends both here and abroad. Valerie will be sadly missed by the Raynor family, Bean family, Arthur and Susan Richards; special friends: Myrna Ingham, Rodelle Matthews, Paulette Stevens, Paula Stowe, Vernelda Davis, Helene Dill, Patricia Castle and the late Carol Smith and Gloria Richards. The St Monica Mission family and the North Village Community family. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations for Valerie can be given to the Bermuda Diabetes Association.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required, social distancing observed.
