Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Voorhees Vernel Lightbourne.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Voorhees Vernel Lightbourne in his 54th year, loving son of Voorhees and Junette Lightbourne, brother of Roderick Nesbitt [Kathy], Verlette Wilson [Kenneth], Verlina Bishop [Davidson], Vendel Lightbourne [Shawnee] will be held at Hamilton Seventh-Day-Adventist Church Today, June 29, 2016 at 11am.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bermuda Heart Foundation or the Bermuda Islands Association of the Deaf.
Relatives and friends may pay their respect at Hamilton Seventh-Day-Adventist Church Today, June 29, 2016 from 10 – 10:55 am.
Also surviving are nephews: Rickardo [Ricky], Roderick [Roddy] Jr., Ryan Nesbitt, Daniel Bishop; niece: Diana Bishop; nephew: Cole Lightbourne; special aunt: Susanne Brown; special uncle: Willard Fox [Foxy]; uncles: Erwin [Hyacinth], Ronald [Lois] and Leonard [Dicky] Lightbourne; aunt: Wilma Rachel [Benjamin]; god daughter: Sherita; godparents: uncle Ernest Webb; aunt: Patricia Ford; numerous other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
