Police Stay Busy On Saturday Night
At approximately 8:15pm tonight [Aug 28] Police officers descended on St Monicas Mission Road, colloquially known as 42nd, with approximately 15 officers visible, five marked Police vehicles as well as a sniffer dog.
Appearing to be part of a patrol, the Police searched various areas on the road, with the canine officer directing the dog into various crevices in the area. The Police stopped persons traveling through, appearing to conduct spot checks. The Police left the area after approximately 15 minutes, and did not appear to take anyone into custody.
