Youth Talent Show This Friday

This Friday [Nov 12] a Youth Talent Show will be held at Crawl Gospel Hall from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Hamilton Parish Council  say they are seeking the community’s support in their efforts to engender a strong community spirit among the parish’s youth.

Hamilton Parish Council Chairman, Arthur Hodgson said: “The Council believes that it is essential to provide opportunities for the local community to come together in order to show support and inspire one another.”

This free event promises to be entertaining, with appearances from well-known, Hamilton Parish artists including: Joy Barnum, the Hot Peppers Dancers, Mission, as well as talented youth performances on the violin, steel drum and piano.

Mr. Hodgson continued: “We are also seeking to actively engage the parish’s younger generation in the actual running of the parish. As a result, the parish’s young people will also have an opportunity to join a new Hamilton Parish Youth Council and help design its logo.”

There will also be a special talk on leadership from guest speaker Dr. Bill Newman from Australia.
