Court: Teens Plead Guilty To Fare Dodging
Two former defendants in the Kellon Hill murder case plead guilty to dodging taxi fare in Magistrates Court.
17 year old Gary Hollis and 18 year old Zharrin Simmons, were apparently part of a group that caught the taxi home to Sandys, then ran away without paying.
The mother of 17 yr old Gary Hollis complained when he was given a night-time curfew as part of his bail, and also accused Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner of being “biased”.
The pair were amongst the five teenage suspects in the killing of teenager Kellon Hill in 2008. Mr. Hollis was only 15 at the time, with Ms. Simmons aged 16.
