Hamilton Princess “Teddy Bear Tea”
The daily Teddy Bear Tea hosted by the Fairmont Hamilton Princess runs from 2:30pm and 5:00pm from December 1 through December 24.
Santa joins in the fun on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30pm for storytelling. Children are encouraged to bring a brand new teddy bear or other new stuffed toy to be donated to various Bermuda charities. The child-friendly menu features peanut butter and jelly white-bread pinwheels, Christmas-tree cookies, gingerbread men with candy canes, Smarties cupcakes, chocolate milk egg-nog or a choice of soda and more.
“We are delighted to offer Teddy Bear Teas again this year” says Rehanna Palumbo, director of sales and marketing for The Fairmont Hamilton Princess. “The Christmas season is all about children, and this is a wonderful tradition for families and friends to celebrate the spirit of the holidays together, surrounded by the festive atmosphere of the hotel. And, of course, no holiday event is complete without a visit from Santa, who joins us on Saturdays and Sundays for stories and to visit with the children.”
The cost for the Teddy Bear Tea is – $19 for children under 12 who donate a new teddy bear, $25 for children without teddy bears to donate and $35 for adults. Reservations for afternoon tea are required and can be made through the hotel’s concierge on 298-5779.
