Ministry Asks: No Alcoholic Gifts on Route
The Ministry of Public Works has asked members of the public to “use consideration if leaving a Christmas gift for their waste collection handlers.”
A Ministry spokesperson “thanked the public for showing their appreciation by leaving gifts for waste collection handlers for the holiday season, but asked that alcoholic beverages not be left on collection routes.”
The spokesperson stated that “it was against the Ministry’s policy to have alcoholic beverage containers in Government vehicles, including Waste Collection trucks.”
Rather than leave gifts at curbs, the Ministry asked that people deliver gifts for collections staff at the Marsh Folly Depot on Palmetto Road, leaving their full addresses so that staff can ensure that the gifts are delivered to the appropriate waste handlers. You can call the Marsh Folly Depot at 292 1517 for more information.
They crash their trucks enought as it is…please don’t assist the drivers!
Do you ever have anything positive to say? Yes You ^^^
@ Sir mixitup…tellin’ it like it is bra! I don’t want any upturned W&E trucks in my back yard…that’s all!? Yes YOU!
Give a man a six pack he’ll work all day. Give a man a garbage bag he’ll leave it all astray.
As for crashing trucks…shame. Blame the Minister of Trash Trucks. We need smaller vehicles to naviagte these roads. 600cc Yamahas should work well. And we could buy them from the employees for $1 each……………….I love it.
So we blame ministers for everything now?
