Biwot & Jones Win Half Marathon
[Updated] Shadrack Biwot from Kenya and Tania Jones from Canada won the 2011 Half Marathon this morning [Jan 16]
Biwot successfully defended his Bermuda International Half Marathon title when he crossed the Front Street finish line in a time of 1:07:14, Kumsa Magersa was second in 1:09:25 and Phillip Lagat was third in 1:09:30.
Jones finished 23rd overall clocking 1:28:55, with locaL runner Deon Breary finishing 37th overall as the second female finisher in 1:33:06 and Krista Lederer was the third female finisher clocking 1:33:18 to finish 40th overall.
