OneBeacon Launches Entertainment Insurer
Bermuda-domiciled OneBeacon Insurance Group yesterday [Jan 4] introduced OneBeacon Entertainment as the trade name for its entertainment, sports and leisure business. OneBeacon Entertainment also encompasses Entertainment Brokers International Insurance Services, a managing general agency that OneBeacon acquired in July 2008. The overall business segment has operated under the EBI name since the company’s inception in 1989.
“We are thrilled to rebrand ourselves as OneBeacon Entertainment,” said OneBeacon Entertainment president Peter Williams. “This branding lets us leverage the strength of the OneBeacon name within our specialised market, consistent with OneBeacon’s specialty focus.”
OneBeacon Insurance Group, Ltd. is a Bermuda-domiciled holding company that is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. OneBeacon Insurance Group’s underwriting companies offer a range of specialty insurance products sold through select independent agents, regional and national brokers, and wholesalers.
