If police cannot get guns off the street, when will the common man be given the right to defend himself?
Wow! What is my home island coming to?
At least here in the USA you have the option to carry:-
1) Tear Gas or Pepper Spray
2) A Stun Gun or a Taser
3) A gun concealed or carried in out in the open.
The 2011 New Year saw a few new laws that will also make a difference with the reduction on some gun carry laws.
There is a growing concern USA statewide that since New Orleans and
Hurricane Katrina that the police are UNABLE (and in some cases UNWILLING)
to protect everyone.
For an eye opening look at criminals ‘only’ having firearms and weapons, Google “Evaluating Britain’s handgun ban” which reports on how Britain’s 1987 legally/illegal owned handgun ban which promised to make the UK safer, resulted in a doubling of handgun crimes from 2,648 to over 4,175 in one year.
Remove people’s right to protect themselves with “anything” is not something taken lightly here in the USA with the Second Amendment!
Immitation firearms are a bitch. But you never know.
As for the “common man”, defend away.
What business was it?
