Three Bowlers Headed to Malaysia
Three of Bermuda’s top bowlers will head to Malaysia later this month for the fifth edition of the Commonwealth Bowling Championships to be held from February 21st to 27th at the Sunway Pyramid Megalanes.
Damien Matthews, Patrice Tucker and June Dill will compete against bowlers from 16 Commonwealth countries such as England, Australia and India for medals and the Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Federation Triple Diamond Trophy.
Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) deputy president Tan Sri Mohamad Noor Abdul Rahim said the championships was supposed to be hosted by India last year but was postponed due to problems with facilities before Malaysia stepped in to host the tournament.
