So will the Police now ensure that on all occasions when drivers damage taxpayer funded vehicles the public will be updated – especially if a policeman ‘happens’ to crash two bikes in the span of one week? :-)

what was his blood alcohol level? hitting parked vehicles should require a field sobriety test at the least….another example on how police are soft on crime. 12 demerit points and a ban of bipedal tranportation for 12 months.

    WAKE UP BERMUDA

    That accident was not accident.

That officer was bribed and offered an envelope containing $5000.

Check out who came in second and follow the money trail. Too much of this happening. Wait till the 24th May…….there will be carnage…..

    [j/k!]

Well I was there and the police bike stopped at the stop sign directly in front of the runner as he was making the turn to go to the finish line. The police bike was leading the race, the bike should not have stopped dead like that as there was no time for the runner to slow down. The traffic was already stopped at the top of Brighton Hill because I walked across it on my morning walk just in front of the police bike and Lamont. Lamont is a premier runner and would not run into a parked vehicle. The police need to come correct and admit to their error. The police bike was still in the way when Sean Trott (second place) came behind Lamont and he had to run around the bike. This is absolutely ludicrous and does not happen at any other race.
